Brian Gornick is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Charles Thayne Capital. He is responsible for management of all aspects of the firm.
Prior to co-founding CTC, Brian was an investor at the private equity firms GTCR, Golden Gate Capital and Accel-KKR. Previously, Brian worked as Vice President of Business Development at KANA Software (sold to Verint Systems – NASDAQ:VRNT) and as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. He began his career as a professional ice hockey player (NHL draft pick of the Anaheim Ducks) and an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Brian holds an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Operations Research with a minor in Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he graduated first in his class. He also serves on the Board of the U.S. Air Force Academy Endowment.
